Structure of the Intercluster Interactions
نویسنده
چکیده
The "fish-bone" structure of the intercluster interaction introduced by Schmid is derived from first principles. It is shown that this structure does not depend on details of the cluster ground states, nor on the details of the microscopic interaction, and is therefore a-fundamental symmetry of interactions between composites. The derivation is based on a recently proposed microscopic method of calculating Pauli-corrected intercluster interactions. The relation between the present approach and the Schmid model is examined. Axial compartmentation of descending and ascending thin limbs of Henle's loops.
In the inner medulla, radial organization of nephrons and blood vessels around collecting duct (CD) clusters leads to two lateral interstitial regions and preferential intersegmental fluid and solute flows. As the descending (DTLs) and ascending thin limbs (ATLs) pass through these regions, their transepithelial fluid and solute flows are influenced by variable transepithelial solute gradients ...
متن کاملInteraction effects in dilute cluster-assembled magnetic nanostructures
We have prepared dilute nanostructured magnetic samples by codeposition of preformed cobalt clusters with a narrow size distribution around 40 atoms per cluster in silver matrices. Magnetoresistance measurements are used to derive information about the magnetic structure of the samples. Effects of cluster size distribution or anisotropy can be neglected in our samples. Deviations from simple La...
متن کاملAnalyzing the biopolymer folding rates and pathways using kinetic cluster method.
A kinetic cluster method enables us to analyze biopolymer folding kinetics with discrete rate-limiting steps by classifying biopolymer conformations into pre-equilibrated clusters. The overall folding kinetics is determined by the intercluster transitions. Due to the complex energy landscapes of biopolymers, the intercluster transitions have multiple pathways and can have kinetic intermediates ...
متن کاملEffects of Multiple Structure-soil-structure Interactions Considering the Earthquake Waveform and Structures Elevation Effects
The simultaneous effects of soil and existing structures are known as the site-city interaction (structure-soil-structure). The impact of site-city interaction on structure behavior is effective. Thus, this interaction in some regions decreases the responses while increases in other areas. In addition, the site-city interaction of many parameters including the soil type, density rate, height of...
متن کاملEffects of structure and number of Heteroatom on the π-π stacking interactions of benzene with N-substituted coronenes: A theoretical study
Stability of the π-π stacking interactions in the Ben||N-substituted-coronene complexes was studied using the computational quantum chemistry methods (where Ben is benzene and || denotes π-π stacking interaction, and N-substituted-coronene is coronene molecule which substituted with different number of N atoms). The results reveal simultaneous effects of structure and number of Heteroatom on th...
